SOUL DOES NOT ENTER UNTIL 7 MONGHS PROFVK

With regard to the subtle body joining/forming with the individual jiva..the venarable Prof VK writes:-- Namaste The answer is contained both in Garbhopanishad (as Venkata Sriram has suggested) and also in Bhagavatam III-31. In Garbhopanishad it says: saptame mAse jIvena samyukto bhavati. In the seventh month it becomes united to the Jiva. So this is the starting point of this individualised sukshma sharira in this body. In Bhagavatam III-31 it says, Arabhya saptamAn mAsAn labdhabodhopi vepitaH , meaning, From the seventh month, he is conscious. To be conscious, he has to have a mind, and so this is the starting point of the sukshma sharira in this body. PraNAms to all advaitins. profvk
